As the coronavirus continues to spread across South Africa and the World at large, Jamiatul Ulama South Africa are doing their bit to create awareness of the virus. The organization has been facing a tough few weeks in the light of governments restrictions on Congregational prayers at all masaajid.
Despite this, the welfare wing of Jamiatul Ulama SA have been reaching out to the most vulnerable communities and educating them on the coronavirus pandemic. They made use of a mobile clinic and went out to communities such as Fietas and Jan Hofmeyer in Johannesburg, where they spread information on how to cope with the coronavirus and how to stay safe during the pandemic.
Ml Assad Pandor of Jamiatul Ulama SA spoke to Radio Islam to share more information on the initiative.
