Eskom Ramps up Load Shedding to Stage 2, Rolling Blackouts Until 10pm

Eskom has ramped up loadshedding to stage 2 from 2pm this afternoon until 10pm.

The utility scaled down to stage one this morning for the first time in five days since implementing rolling blackouts.

Eskom says there is a shortage of capacity and the system is”severely constrained” with demand constantly increasing due to the cold weather.
