[LISTEN] Ml Ebrahim Bham on Islamic Month of Safar: “Good & Difficulty Only Comes from Allah”

The United Ulama Council of South Africa (UUCSA) has confirmed that the moon for the Islamic month of Safar has been sighted.

UUCSA made the announcement on Friday night.

Secretary General Ml Ebrahim Bham confirmed the sighting of the Safar moon.

“Alhamdulillah, the hilaal and the month of Safar has been sighted in South Africa. The United Ulama Council of South Africa has declared that this is the 1st of Safar.”

Ml Bham says the month of Safar in the days of ignorance was regarded as a month of misfortune and sentiments are still  existent today.

However Ml Bham has emphasised that Muslims have to keep in mind that whatever good or difficulty that comes upon people is with the permission of Allah.

“What ever difficulty comes upon you, no one can remove it but Allah. What ever good comes upon you, it is because of Allah’s Power. Keeping this in mind, we believe that our fortune and misfortune is more tied to our deeds and misdeeds than it is to do with any time and place.”

As the Muslim world moves into the Islamic month of Safar, Ml Bham has urged the Ummah to strive and rectify our deeds, keep our deeds correctly and do righteous deeds, because in that there is goodness.
