Pam Golding Distances itself from James van der Schyff Comment Calling Black People the “K” Word

Faizel Patel – 21/09/2020

(Twitter: @FaizelPatel143)

Pam Golding Properties has distanced itself from a man who made a racist comment against black people.

James van der Schyff made the racist slur while responding to a Times Live article on Twitter in which the paper reported that “unemployed youths threaten to shut shopping mall”.

Van de Schyff responded by tweeting “ka****s boucing around again. Where is the police to arrest them… Oh I forgot. They are royal game.”

In a Twitter post, Pam Golding Properties says it terminated van der Schyff’s contract with the company a year-and-a-half ago and have no association with him whatsoever or the views and comments he expressed on social media.

“We abhor and are shocked by the statements attributed to him and wish to reaffirm that Pam Golding Properties does not tolerate or condone racism or discrimination in any shape or form.”

Pam Golding properties also says they fully support the Estate Agency Affairs Board in their efforts to eliminate any discrimination within the real estate sector.

Van der Schyff has since deleted his Twitter account.
