Police Investigating Murder Case After Doctor Shot & Killed in Norwood, Johannesburg

Police are investigating a case of murder after a 57-year old man was fatally shot in Norwood, north of Johannesburg.

It’s understood Dr Abdulhay Munshi was shot and killed by unknown suspects on Wednesday.

The police’s Mathapelo Peters says anyone who may have witnessed the incident or have information that could lead towards the apprehension of the suspect(s) is urged to report to the nearest police station or call the crime stop number 08600 10111.

“The case will be investigated by a multi-disciplinary team on the immediate activation of the 72-hours Response Plan to detect the perpetrators.”

Peters says  investigations are continuing.
