Presidency Spokesperson Khusela Diko’s Husband Chief Madzikane Thandisizwe Dies

The husband of presidential spokesperson Khusela Diko, Chief Thandisizwe Diko II has died.

In a statement, the KwaBacha Great Kingdom says Chief Thandisizwe Diko II passed away on Sunday following a short illness.

“ISizwe samaBacha and the Royal family are still coming to terms with this shocking and painful loss of our beloved son and husband.”

The family says it will make further announcements once the Kingdom has finalised the arrangements for the funeral.

Khusela Diko has been on a leave of absence for nearly six months now after it emerged that the Gauteng government had awarded her husband, Madzikane, a multi-million rand tender to provide personal protective equipment.
