Wednesday 20110302 – The Muslim Marriages Bill (MMB) has generated a lot of debate in the Muslim Community of South Africa. Whilst all have concerns regarding some clauses in the current bill, some are for engagement with government in order to have the problematic areas rectified. They also feel that a Shariah compliant bill will have fewer risks in comparison to the status quo.
