Three Arrested for Murder of 76-Year-Old Lenasia Man

Police have arrested three people, two males and one female in connection with the murder of a 76-year-old man in Lenasia, south of Johannesburg.

It’s understood Abdus Samad Rasool (Sam Ballim) was found dead by his sister at his Albatross home last week.

The police’s Hector Netshivodza says the motive for the murder is being investigated.

“Lenasia SAPS managed to arrest three suspects who are between 17 and 46-year-old. The suspects were wanted for killing a 76-year-old man. One of the suspects is his nephew. The three suspects are are going to appear in the Soweto Magistrates Court today.”
